About This Spot
China One sits quietly tucked along East 16th Avenue, inviting locals and visitors alike into a space that feels familiar and sincere. The pace here slows just enough to savor a warm bowl of soup or the comforting sizzle of classic stir-fried noodles, creating a low-key retreat from the day’s rush. It’s the kind of place where the hum of friendly chatter blends with the soft clatter of dishes, making it easy to settle in whether dining solo or sharing a meal with family.
Inside, the atmosphere carries a comforting, everyday charm. It’s not focused on flash or fuss but on honest service — the warmth in the staff’s greeting feels genuine, and there’s a careful, steady rhythm to how meals come out, fresh and thoughtfully prepared. This grounded hospitality paired with straightforward, authentic Chinese dishes makes it clear this is a neighborhood spot valued for consistency and heart.
The menu unfolds a comforting range of options that coax familiar favorites into moments of discovery. From the inviting crispness of lemon pepper wings paired alongside hearty shrimp fried rice, to the rich textures found in egg foo young or the softly seasoned broths of egg drop soup, each dish carries its own quiet personality. These are meals crafted not just to fill a plate, but to offer a moment of thoughtful simplicity — reminding those who come through the door that good food can feel like a pause, a comfort, and a connection.
For those who stop by for takeout, there’s a sense of care in how orders are wrapped up—warmth tucked inside each container that speaks to mindful hands behind the scenes. Whether you’re enjoying a lunch special or a casual dinner, there’s a kind of steady reliability here that many appreciate in a place that’s stayed true to its roots in this small Georgia town.
China One is not just about food; it’s about the quiet pulse of everyday encounters—where familiar tastes meet friendly faces and where coming back always feels like returning to something steady, steady and welcoming right at the corner of East 16th Ave.

Best take out set-up I've seen in this COVID times. Their chicken egg roll was the tastiest I've had in a long time. Tried their shrimp egg foo young, was good. Not sure what the standard is, as was my first but overall, really good food.

I ordered through DoorDash. The food was worth the wait. The tea was sweetened perfectly, the noodles were good but a little greasy, and the chicken was well fried. I didn’t get to try the rice but it looked good(wasn’t for me). Now their spring rolls were a little to gooey, the taste was fine but I didn’t like the feel on the inside. I ordered beef and broccoli. I ate the broccoli but not the beef it was hard. Besides that it was good, I will try here again.

Ignore the haters talking about some roaches. This place is super clean, authentic Chinese food ran by the friendliest people and the food is excellent! It’s a solid 5 stars from me.

For a small city restaurant China one has pretty good food. You can choose from a variety of food. They kept the food fresh and hot.
